Description
These two drawings are of the USS Lexington (BC-1) as a battlecruiser before being converted into an aircraft carrier (CV-2) following 1922. Both are copies of original shipyard vellum that date to 1916-1922. The larger of the two is an inboard profile, while the smaller is her upper decks and superstructure.
