This listing is for a lovely group of six (6) Sterling Silver individual partial gilt salt cellars and six matching pattern miniature salt spoons.
Salt cellars measure 3/4″ high with a the top diameter of 1 1/4″. Spoons measure 2″ long. Combined weight is 40 grams.
The six individual salt cellars have ogee shaped bodies with gilded interiors. Each is marked with the trademark stamp of John Hasselbring in business in Brooklyn NY from 1890.
The six individual salt spoons have floral pattern that extends from a rose on the handle end to about half way down the stem with a scalloped edge shell bowl. Each is marked with the trademark stamp of the Webster Co. in business in North Attleboro MA from 1894 until they became part of Reed & Barton in 1950.
The six salt cellars are in very good to excellent Estate condition. The silver is free of damage although several of the salts do have very minor signs of wear (faint discoloration from use) around the bottom edges on the inside. This is to be expected from normal use and is not a detraction on these lovely salt cellars.
The six spoons are in excellent condition with no noted flaws.
